Terms of Service
Last updated 9 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of Proloquent (the “Service”), operated by Proloquent. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Proloquent provides practice materials, mock exams, and AI-generated feedback for LanguageCert preparation. All scores and CEFR levels are indicative estimates for study purposes only and are not official LanguageCert results. Proloquent is not affiliated with, authorised, or endorsed by PeopleCert or LanguageCert.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Don’t misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Don’t scrape, resell, or redistribute our content or another user’s data.
- Don’t submit unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
4. Credits & payments
Some features consume credits or require a paid plan. Prices are shown before purchase. Except where required by law, purchased credits and subscription fees are non-refundable once used. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.
5. AI-generated feedback
Feedback is produced by automated models and may contain errors. It is guidance, not a guarantee of any exam outcome. See our AI scoring disclaimer.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the responses and recordings you submit. You grant Proloquent a limited licence to process them to provide and improve the Service — for example, to score your work and return feedback. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software and original content, is protected by law and owned by Proloquent. “LanguageCert” and related marks belong to their respective owners.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that our estimates will match your official exam results.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proloquent is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for exam outcomes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
