LanguageCert Academic Speaking is a live interview of about 14 minutes in four parts: a short interview, a role play, reading a text aloud with follow-up, and a two-minute talk about some information. It's marked on five criteria and mapped to a CEFR level.
Format
- Part 1 — a short interview: the examiner asks about you and familiar topics.
- Part 2 — a role play: you take part in a realistic situation with the examiner.
- Part 3 — read a short text aloud, then answer questions about it.
- Part 4 — talk on your own for about two minutes about some information, then answer follow-up questions.
